World of Warcraft meets Pokemon...

I saw this the other day and was like 'wtf. its lawsuit time!' By far this is the stupidest thing they've done. They say there will even be some that only appear when it's raining or in the spring or at night, etc. Total rip off of pokemon.
 
I know! And pokemon is way better than World of Warcraft so people will just stop doing dungeons and raids and it'll turn into full on 3d pokemon
 
Bah, I was hoping they announced a Pokemon mmo lol

and meh, it's a mini game, seems cool to me. Now my vanity pets have another purpose.
 
do ya rekon they will evolve, if so playing WoW and having charazard as a pet would be off the hook awesome
 
I've done a little reading on the new expansion, and seems like to me that Blizzard is attempting to make the game more attactive to a younger audience while still trying to keep the players they have. I'm not real happy with the new expansion, but seems like I have said that on most every one that has came out.

The new race sounds like it will have some different racial abilities which is nice.

New dungeons and 90 level cap is good for me. Current game isnt offering much anymore.

New pvp content..

New talents...

New pets...


All these things sound like nice upgrades but I dont see much excitement out of WoW community... wonder if the WoW rule is about over???

They can only make a game last so long. The game is 7 years old next month. It's very rare that a game is still universally popular and still played at that age. Counter strike Source is the only game I can think of that's close. People still play it but not nearly as many as Wow.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if they went the guild wars route and released a WoW 2.

I heard that they are working on a new MMORPG that will not take the place of WoW but work alongside it.

Not sure how they accomplish that.. but who knows with Blizzard
