so you defiantely want AMD? I was AMD but I switched to Intel

ps. Your processor is out of stock

8120 is the same with a different multipliuer basically, and the bulldozers failed man, intel is way better even at most threaded tasks.

msi isn't the best brand and this should do the same for less

i like to look at cards wih more than 2 reviews and generally prefer evga and all but that should be fine

can always grab 8gb's of 1600 for now and go to 16gb's later on when/if needed for cheaper.

otherwise looks great.

first, yes, I know that intel is better. But if everyone was like you and chose Intel over AMD, than AMD would go out of biz and leave Intel in charge. If that happened then they can charge as much as they wanted for there CPU's(no competitors).Someone has to buy from them to keep them in the game, why not me? If AMD made as much as Intel does every year in revenue, then ill believe it would be a fair game.

actually other than bulldozer and below the i5 i go amd every time. and also i think amd is based in america, not made but based, and if they go under it forms a monopoly which is basically against the law in america, although it isn't good it would result in a bail-out so they wouldn't go under in the end.

and I also saw this under your RAM

"Only qualified 1.5V XMP RAM on Intel Core i3/i5/i7"

That is just marketing targeted to people buying sandy bridges CPUs. That RAM will work on a AMD board. But get 8GB of RAM. You will not use more than 8, and when you do, your entire system will already be outdated.

You won't need a modular PSU. The cable management is great on corsairs and you'll have no problem hiding all the cables back there.

Yes, I know I dont need it, but I want it.Even though the case has good cable management, if I got a non modular PSU I will have alot of extra wires rolled up and tied with tie straps.Less clutter, less noise, more air flow and also it looks alot better.

You, and everyone else that is computer savvy, knows that in the world of PC's,the word overkill/to much of something, dosent exist.Everday that passes,we the people, demand more from are PC's.Today ill need 8gb, tomorrow ill need 16gb.

I do agree to some point, and some programs do use more than 8GB, but no games utilize usually above 4GB, at most. I know BF3 sometimes uses more than 4GB. Just a suggestion. And you can always throw another 8GB in there when games do need more.

claptonman, I have a off-topic guestion. Were you able to unlock your 960T to 6 cores?

Haha I knew this was gonna happen. I actually just ordered it today, so I haven't had the chance to try it. From the reviews, it sounds like there's a good chance they will. But once again, no games utilize more than 4 cores! :P But I will definitely try. If I get it to 6 cores and around 4Ghz, I will be very happy, especially for $125.

Yes, that would be the best price/performance ratio around, if it unlocked.Plz, let us know if your able to, I would love to know.I really dont trust people on newegg, saying they unlocked it.I would believe a former "Computer Forum" member more.
