So I haven't been on the forums for a while, But I recently got a new job doing graphic design. So I have a few system upgrade questions...
My specs are:
Mobo: MSI 870-G54
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE
Ram: Adata Gaming series 2GB
Hard drive: WD 750GB
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GT120
Power Supply: OCZ 500W
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64...
Here are the parts I want to upgrade, in order to promote workflow smoothness and production. I will be working with pretty much all of Autodesk, and Adobe CS5.... (looking for feed back on this list)
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103913
CPU Heatsink: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103055
Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231442
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139009
Video Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130693
And I need help determining a hard drive, I need at LEAST 200GB for JUST 1 Realflow project. (Realflow simulates water and other liquids, commonly oceans)...
I am thinking of running a raid setup, mainly for Hard Drive fail safe.
So question is what would be the best brand of Hard drive that you guys would suggest
