Which Case/Case Size?

Hey guys, building a new system and finalizing some of the parts before I order which should be about 3 weeks from now. I was set in for a HAF X full tower case but I literally looked it for a good minute and came to the conclusion it was too childish almost. Anyways, my hunt for a new case is on...

My first question is what size case should I get?
Specs:

CPU: i5 2600k

GPU: Radeon 6950- 2GB

Storage: 1 TB WD 7200RPM 32Mb Cache

RAM: 8 GB Corsair Vengeance

PSU: Corsair TX 750W PSU

Motherboard: Havent fully decided but it'll be a full ATX board 100% (not extended ATX)

Cooling: I plan to have an aftermarket cooler so must be pretty width-generous. I'm not sure if I want to install a water cooling system, I like expandability though so assume I'll need a case which can easily fit a WC system.

Budget: I'd like to say up to about 150 - 200 bucks?

Other info: If im paying over 150 I'd like for most of it to be steel and when we get to the 200 range I'd prefer a pretty much all steel case. I won't be majorly overclocking but still like my system to be COLD, so pretty good air cooling is a must. Or at least the ability for good air cooling.


Right now I'm assuming most of you are thinking about the 650D... So am I but I'm not sure if I want a mid tower case, and the 800D seems to be out of my price range. If you guys think that a mid tower will provide enough airflow/space then I'll get the 650D most likely but I'm still 100% open to any suggestions.

If you've got the case to blow, you might as well look into a Caselabs case: http://caselabs-store.com/ The cases are all aluminum, and the side panels on mine are 2.4mm thick according to my calipers.

My budget was $200 bucks... I'm assuming you read the "650D" quickly and thought I said something to the effect of my budget being $650 dollars... It's cool though, and those case's are sexy...


These Lian Li cases seem to be pretty high quality, I'll look more into them. I'll be honest when I first started my hunt for a case I saw the name and immediately thought it was some Low quality Chinese brand and disregarded it as an option... After a quick Google following your recommendation it seems as though it's quite the contrary... I feel like quite the fool.

In the meantime, any other suggestions people?
