IN NEED OF A Video Editing Software!

Hey Forum,

My windows movie maker has been completely eliminated because I have XP, so I need a good, not to expensive editor. I Make youtube videos so I sorta need this kinda Quick. I know there are other ways to do it without WMM but it doesn't look right! Please help!

Movie Maker is part of XP SP2. As long as you have SP2 or SP3 installed it should be there. If you need it again, Tucows has a download for it.

Ok Cause Someone was telling me they read an article that said that WMM is now only available for Vista... I can't even open it though!

Might be an issue with your computer because I just checked a recently updated XP machine and it works fine.

It's probably just not really supported my Microsoft anymore.

Movie Maker for Vista and 7 is a lot better anyway. It doesn't crash all the time like XP's version did.

True! I need to find something relatively in my budget... I was thinking about the toned down asus laptop!

This one shows a lot of promise and it is currently available for Windows and sometime next month will be available for OSX and Linux.

For Linux there is a program called Open Movie Editor. There is a link on the right hand column to the AVS Video Editor for Windows. I'm not entirely sure if that is free, it says something about a subscription, but the download is free and the subscription isn't bad at all if it requires you to purchase.
