that motherboard and that cpu aren't compatible, and what are you using this for as almost nothing will use that much, and nothing needs over 16 really.

its not??? nooooooooooooooo

how do i know if my i7 is compatible with my motherboard?

ok i think it know.. the i7 is an LGA 1155, does this mean i have to find a LGA 1155 Mother board??

i want to have 24 gig of rams so i can brag to my friend about it

yes to the mobo/i7 part, and for the ram, i would get a better gpu and brag about that more than ram.

You need a Socket 1155 with a Z68 chipset and either 2 or 4 sticks of memory. How much do you want to spend on a moherboard? What kind of video card are you getting. The power supply could be way overkill.

so i have to re-start and choose the right parts.. okk

i dont want to spend more than 300 on a motherboard. Im not getting a new video card my using my old one. 8600 gts, i dont play video games so this card is fine.

i just want to be ready for the future
