Welcome to the Official Batman Arkham City Thread. This game is supposedly one of the most anticipated games of the year and you will find all information pertaining to the game here. Feel free to discuss anything you want about the game.

The player controls Batman, making their way around Arkham City to complete mission objectives. In addition to the primary mission, the game introduces secondary missions featuring a number of key characters and their stories. The player can opt to move silently, avoiding inmates and other enemies using a combination of gadgets to sneak up on enemies to incapacitate them. Batman's gliding ability has also been upgraded, allowing players to dive downward and pull themselves back up, making it much faster to move through the air. The grappling gun may also be used while gliding.

Ok so it was released on 25th November for PC so did anyone play it yet.
I am planning to get it but it is $20 now, waiting for the price to come down.
Many people must be having the Nvidia Coupon for free download for this game.
And does anyone know about the downloadable content.
 
I currently have it and have played a full is minutes or so. I've been looking forward to it since I finished Arkham Asylum. I might just wait to play it though cause I'm thinking of switching back to an nVidia card (cause I'm getting tired of AMD). Plus PhysX :)
 
I don't play a ton of games but I got this one right after I SLI'ed my 570's, and damn..

look great, plays great...just super fun all around..
 
My specs are below... I turned on Direct x 11 and Phyiscs, sometimes my game drops to around 8-9 FPS... anyone else seeing anything like that? BF3 has no problems on my machine

This happens in a lot of games. I don't think there is an issue with your hardware. It might drop in some of the levels, there is no issue with that.
 
This game is awesome. Just got it and played it for 2 hours. Only 2% complete though. I love the map. The area is huge and you do plenty of other stuff than the primary missions.It is almost like GTA but with batman in it. :D
 
Are you guys using the pc controls or gamepads... I find it very hard to use the keyboard in this game... expecially because I am left handed
 
I prefer keyboard. Didn't have an issue with Arkham Asylum. Haven't played much of Arkham city though because I've been busy with other things (And playing L.A. Noire ;) )
 
I completed the main story line.
The story is amazing.
I prefer keyboard much more than any gamepad,except for games like guitar heroes.

I have a G15 so I remap the things which are used a lot in fights. Like 1-1 for batrang has been remapped to G1 and similarly for 3-3 for explosive gel and 5-5 for freeze blast etc I make macros out of the double presses and use the extra keyboard buttons to my advantage.
