Hey Forum, I am wondering today since I have a plan to build a laptop out of broken laptops, If all mother boards are pretty much shaped the same, or if you have to have the same mother board as the Keyboard. My second question is.... is there a certain way/feature that allows you to hook up a webcam and microphone that is built into the different computer screen? I guess hooking up all the rest is pretty self explanatory but if you could help that would be great!

There is no way you can build a laptop out of broken ones unless all the broken ones are the same exact model, as a motherboard from any other machine won't fit anything else. Or am I not understanding your question? Keyboard connectors most likely won't be the same. Everything is different.

Laptops are a compketely different animal when it comes to form factors. They don't follow ATX standards, or something similar. They're proprietary to each manufacturer, and usually different, even between different models from the same manufacturer. You would need to obtain parts from compatible systems for your idea to work.
