Hey, I have just got my new radeon hd 6870 for Christmas, today, and I have been getting lag on crysis, highest settings, the fan is on about 40% and 64 degreese Celsius, and have about 20-30Fps without recording, 1080p. How will I max it out with higher frames and I can overclock it, but I want to maintain a good temp. Please help :/ is it a good system I have? Check my specs please :)

You have another thread asking the same question with more replies. Keep the same question to one thread :)

As I said in the other thread you posted, you've got to have a 6950 or higher to player crysis smoothly.

Also, you said you only run minecraft at 100fps. It's kinda weird, your system should be running minecraft at 200 fps quite easily.

I'm pretty sure I know why you're not getting 200 fps on minecraft. Your GPU is under clocking. I've had this problem before and I fixed it.
Basically this is what is happening :

Your computer is quite powerful, but minecraft doesn't need all that power. So, your computer is saying "Well, you know, I'll give java some of my power, but I will keep the rest for other things". So it's not performing at it's full potential.
But, when you get a game like Battlefield 3 or Crysis, your computer focuses all it's power on the game because the game requires all that power.

Go to your CCC and check if your GPU is underclocking. If it's saying that it's at something like 200MHz when it should be at 800MHz, start an intensive game then close it and open minecraft.

^^ It worked for me. :D
