Mouse Buttons switch?

Okay, I have a VERY peculiar problem here, in some games the mouse buttons literally SWITCH for no reason. By this I mean I can do anything in pretty much any other problem by left clicking normally and right clicking normally, but when I go into a game such as Terraria, the mouse buttons will switch to right is left and left is right, can anyone tell me why this could be happening?


It is a tablet laptop if that changes anything.

I honestly don't have any idea why this would happen but you could always try plugging in a regular mouse.
 
Are you using the trackpad with the laptop? If so, using a regular mouse will probably fix this. Using the trackpad can introduce problems with the driver or maybe even the game itself doesn't like the hardware. Sounds like you're using "an unsupported mouse," much in the same way your video card would be unsupported, except, in this case, your mouse isn't. Ha, I never thought I'd need to say that..."unsupported mouse."

It happens with both the trackpad and the mouse though :/

Very peculiar problem, I know people have answered this already, but all I will suggest to add to this, is going in game and using the control mapping to change the mouse buttons, it'll be a pain but it's a temporary fix.

My apologies for not helping more, but the other answers above seem a bit... beyond my knowledge of this kind of thing.
 
It sounds like that how the defualt mouse bindings are. I presume what you mean is in some game (for example) shoot would be right click, in others left. Obviously your example is different. Have you tried remaping the mouse buttons to your own liking?
