what games to get?

Ok, I want to get some new games to play on my laptop to stay busy during travel. I like FPS (I have MOH: Pacific Assault, Global operations, Battlefield 2 (and spec ops), and Red Faction 2), Simulation (I have spore and the complete 18WOS anthology), and some RTS (CNC 10th annaversy)

So, I just want some recommendations of what I can get to run well on a D630 laptop.

• Core 2 Duo 1.83 GHz
  4GB DDR2 667 Kingston RAM
  Quadro NVS 135m (16 cores at 540/1080/775 clocks)
  640 GB SATA HDD
  Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP3, Ubuntu 10.04.4

As for your actual question. Half life 2? Portal? Anything Valve interest you?

I don't know really. Half Life 2 sounds like a fun game. Whats it take to run?

As for portal, not really.

And Global Operations is the best game ever IMO.

Half life 2 is a great game (many people claim its one of the best for PC). It's relatively old so it doesn't take much to run. Your system should be fine.

Yeah you shouldn't have an issue running HL2 on your D630.
