Lag probrlems :(

I have got a brand new gaming system, i7 quad core and I have a radeon HD 6870, I can't even fricken max out GTA IV! What is going on? It lags on highest settings? I'm so pissed off!

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card and have windows update all installed an all of that.

It could just be that your graphics card isnt powerful enough, maybe if you did 6870 Crossfire it would probably do it, or just sell your 6870 and buy a GTX 570.

To max out all of the most intensive games, I would have went for a 6950 or higher. Also, you should have got an i5-2500k, they're better for gaming.
