Upgrading graphic card

Hello my current graphic card is an Gtx 550 ti fabric (oc) to 970 mhz and i am wondering if it is worth to get the sapphire radeon hd 6970 2gb i am a hardcore gamer! i will get bf3 soon also my power supply is a powersupply at 500 w it's may a bit to low...

why do you always post to that site, it really sucks, every time i've looked newegg stuff was much cheaper, in this case, 100 bucks less

or for 550 there is a 3gb version which if you can afford it would prob be worth it in the long run

but like strangle said, the 7970 is just around the corner and for 550 it performs a good bit better than the 580
 
Yea for sure, i should wait a bit , to see how good 7970 performance the new 600 serie's , should come out soon , maybe i should wait, until 7970 come out and then go for 6970 in crossfire mode the card should get cheaper a bit ^^ :)
