ok so we have decided we could like to get an "AMD GPU" and really price is no issue, we want to put the best possible gpu inside.
Thanks in advance for the help :)

If I may ask, why do you prefer AMD gpus?

Nvidia will be better performance and with more stable drivers.

However, if you want the best AMD has to offer, get a 6990.

well normally i wouldn't care but i'm kinda interested in BitCoins and they preform 5x better than Nvidia so that's why, thanks so much for the quick reply :)

ok so i looked up the AMD 6990 I had no idea they could cost 800 dollars, thats about the cost of my pc :( are there ones around the 200-350 range?

I am not up on the current AMD prices, but I think a 6950 or 6970 would be in that range.

Key on AMD is to get the highest number that is in your price range. The higher the number the better the performance.

...if your trying to mine bitcoins, i wouldnt bother, go out and get a job, and make dough vs burning up electricity and coming up in the hole c.c

lol thanks but im only 16 and me and my dad are more concerned about building a computer :) we have wanted to build one for like 3 years, and really im kinda intreated in bitcoin :) but thanks :)

The only thing I see wrong with that system is the 2500 CPU. You will want a 2500K CPU if you wish to venture into overclocking :)

If you're not going to be doing much else besides "mining bitcoins," then you probably don't need to waste a ton of money on a video card. In fact, an extremely low end card would probably do the trick nicely...less than 100 bucks.

However, I assume you will most likely be doing other tasks on this computer in which case, something in the range of 100 to 200 dollars would be sufficient.

Change the processor to a 2500K. Change the harddrive to a Samsung F3 or Western Digital Black or a Seagate Barracuda. Change the Power supply to a Antec/XFX/PC Power&Coooling/Silverstone/Corsair or Seasonic. For the price difference get DDR3 1600.

Get a 6950, the 6970 isnt worth the price difference.
