open source programs

Hello everybody

I am learning C programming language and need some help. I will be thankful if you could tell me names of some open source C programs, so i can get their source code and learn with that.

There are seriously way to many programs to even begin.

While they all might not be in C, I can assure you plenty of them are.

And if you want to look at the source code of programs made for a specific purpose (media playback, file archivers, CD/DVD/Blu-ray burning etc), then you might want to look at the projects uploaded to SourceForge. Of course not all of them are in C, but it might be a good place to look.
