Please tell me if this is a good set up

Need to find a socket AM3 mobo or vice versa. Everything else looks to be compatible
I love my UEFI BIOS btw...
I would look into a SSD just for OS and sys files, mechanical for the rest

cheaper and just as good ram, although a few bucks isn't a big deal

that mobo is great, but if the price is a concern this one is a good bit cheaper and will do good

agreed on the case, i would look at a lian li or cooler master or nzxt, those all look good and are same price or less and much better.

also most people prefer pci wireless adapters over usb ones.

and do you already have a copy of windows? a power supply? a dvd drive? and for the video card it goes to budget and what you plan to do with this.

so my processor wont work

With that Motherboard, no. That is a socket FM1, use with the AMD APU chips.

If you are only planning on using one video card, get the board that jonny posted. If you are planning on using two, get the board I posted.

so my processor wont work and this one will http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131736
i just really want the UEFI bios

if you can afford that one then great, but if it matters this will do just as good as that for a fraction of the rice, or there are even cheaper ones.

with that one that processor will work wonders, don't forget a good cooler to overclock it though :D

alsoi you never said a budget or anything for graphics cards or anything, and what is your power supply exactly, the power supply is a really big deal, if you get the wrong one it can literally destroy your entire system in a blazing ball of fiery glory (maybe not literally but something along those lines, either way you'll be out of a nice chunk of money most likely)

yeah im looking to spend around 750 to 800 and my friend has an extra power supply so im all set with that and for the graphics card i was looking at this one

also with the ASUS Sabertooth 990FX AM3+ more advanced with the heat sensors and stuff like that watch the video here about 16:30 they talk about it very interesting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IT7YSsEFqTk&feature=player_embedded

cna you ask that friend the brand of the power supply?

that's a good card.

the motherboard is good and all but i still don't think it's necessary to spend so much on it, i don't really think spending more on the mobo than the cpu is ever very smart unless it is for like on the 990fx's to get multiple x16 pci-e slots for sli'ing or crossfiring, although you still don't want to go super cheap.

also on a side note, who pronounces those words like that? idk if it's just that i'm in the south but i and everyone else around here pretty much pronounces it like ace-us. and for the zambezi, i pronounce it like it looks while he said it like zambeezi.

haha, yeah ik i just thought it was really cool and had a bunch of features on it that most other motherboards dont have, i also found this motherboard which is cheaper and will still work instead of the mobo

and ill ask my friend about it all i know about it is its 500w and he used it on his other computer then he build another computer and bought a bigger power supply

yeah you don't want to put a 6850 on that, roadkill is one of the worst brands in general, i think someone said they had 1 or 2 decent series, but in geral, just junk. this one is good and if you can it's on sale ending tomorow, but it's fairly cheap and can handle anything pretty much

yes i cant get that right now but im going to wait for every thing to go on sale looking to have all the parting in about 1 to 2 months, money kinda tight so going to wait, just wanted to get everything that i needed inline before i buy them
