First build complete!

Hey guys! Just popped in to let you all know my first build worked out! Everything came together nicely!

I am still waiting on the GPU, already ordered off of Newegg, running off of on-board graphics right now, I ended up going with a 6850 because I decided to wait for the 7000 series to come out. Already started saving :) They look to be very promising.

Would not have been able to do it without all of your help! Thanks for everything!

Yup. Do you know how to overclock properly?

Absolutely not....I will definitely do a TON of research or look for help on that. I just got into computers about a month ago. I understand the concept of overclocking, but I do not know how to approach and execute it.

I don't even know where to start! LOL

Here's a quick idea:

Get a temp program and Prime95
Go into your BIOS. Go to M.I.T. and at the top should be the multiplier It's usually at auto or a 2-digit number. Change it to manual.
Increase this by .5 or 1, depending on what your BIOS can do.
Save changes, restart.
Once in windows, open the temp program and prime95. Start prime95 and leave it on for about 10-20 minutes. Watch your temperatures.
Repeat until you reach a good overclock or it fails Prime95. It'll either say one of your cores failed or it will bluescreen. If this happens, return to BIOS and decrease the multiplier by .5 or 1.
Once you get a good overclock and your temps aren't too high, run prime95 for at least 2 hours to make sure there's no problems.
