Why is i5 2500k so cheap at Microcenter?

I'm about ready to start buying all my components but really dont want to spend $220-229 from compusa or newegg when microcenter has this chip for $180. But unfortunately i am not near any MC's.

I'm really in no rush to buy right now. Does anyone know any other places to get this for under $200? Or should I just wait a bit?
 
if you look on the side of their home page half way down they say they have the lowest prices and i don't remember where but i remember somewhere it said they do weekly or monthly checks to make sure they're cheapest.
 
i was just saying that so you'd know, not sure how that came across as angry or anything, but microcenter is probably the cheapest place other than newegg which they about match other than the cpus where they kick newegg's butt.
