Building new pc, need adive!

Hello..ive got a rig picked out that i paln on ordering in the next few days. I plan on mostly planning skyrim and bf3. Please give me any constructive criticism on the setup and how it will run those games. Thanks

tbh i dont see anything wrong with it.
suprised me that the 7970 was on the list, cus its expensive as hell lol but if you can get it then yeah go for it. but if you have the money id go for the i5 2500K for future overclocking

Generally looks OK.
However, I would suggest go for Z68 motherboard. And invest SSD if you have money.

SSD instead of regular hard drive. or both?

both. SSDs are generally small for the size. You will need a hard drive for your data on top of the SSD boot drive.

I would get the 2500K over the 2500. paried with a P67 or Z68 motherboard and a half decent cooler you can OC the i5 pretty far.

If you are going with that Graphics card, I'd make sure you get a Z68 board and one with PCI-e 3.0, such as this one.

A 6GB/s mechanical hard drive would be no different than a 3GB/s hard drive.
