Hey guys/ gals,
I'm in the middle of building my new Desktop. At first i had my mind set on two GTX560Ti (wanting to run triple monitor 3D style). Then as i researched, i realized i wouldn't get that much performance out of them. I mean they would produce some good graphics, but nearly as good as two GTX580's would. Those things are beasts.
Then Radeon had to go and screw that idea up for me. Two GTX580 cards would cost me approx $1200. As far as i know 2 GTX580 3GB would only give me 3GB. Something to do with splitting the memory ( forget where i seen this). Anyway, is this true?
The Radeon 7970 is the card i am looking at. From what i see, this card will kick two GTX580's out of the water. NO?
Let me know what your opinions are and some research backing your opinion if possible.
Thanks
