one slight problem installing linux on virtual box

I'm only at the first screen on Virtual Box, typing in what I want to name the OS. I'm installing Linux Mint 11 x64, which is what I happen to be naming it as well. As soon as I type in Linux as the name, it comes up Linux as the OS which is fine. Then as soon as 64 is in the name, it comes up as Linux 2.6 (64bit), but there is also Linux 2.4 (64bit) on the drop-down menu and Mint isn't one of the ones you can choose. There's "Other Linux" as a choice, but I thought I read that Mint is based off of Ubuntu, so I'm wondering if I should choose Ubuntu (64bit) as OS Type. But then again, Ubuntu is based off of Debian, so... Any suggestions would help a lot cuz I'd like to get this installed as soon as I can. Thanks!

I've never really found that it matters which version you choose, because you'll be able to choose the VHD size and RAM size later on anyway. I'd go with either Ubuntu or Other myself.

Sweet. That was the fastest response I've ever gotten on CF. I'll get on it right now with Ubuntu. Thanks!
