Computer won't start! HELP NEEDED

I have lately encountered one of the most bizarre computer problems i have ever seen..
"My computer won't start", it seems "simple".. But it's not.
I use my stationary computer on a daily basis, but when it is moved, it won't start.. Sometimes it will take a few hours after it has been moved before it can start again, sometimes a few days..
So basicly, my computer can't start after it has been moved.. I can't figure out where the problem is or how to deal with it.. Any help?

Check all your connections from the power supply to your motherboard, there could be a loose connection.

I have tried that before.. I will try again in a few moments, but if that is the problem, i still find it wierd that it is able to start a few hours to a few days after, without i have done anything..

You would need a digital psu tester, or the simplest way is to just try another psu, do you have another pc you could take one from, or someone you could loan one from.

Remove any expansion cards you have installed (graphics cards, RAID cards, USB cards etc etc), then see if it boots. If the PC has a floppy drive, unplug it, and see if it boots (floppy drives IIRC are often the cause for machines not starting).

Failing that, remove all of your RAM, then put one stick in and see if it boots. If it does, let the PC boot into Windows and then shut it down, then put in another stick and see if it boots. It may be one of your RAM sticks is dead. If you get all your sticks running, or at least the majority of them, I'd run Memtest86 on them (freeware, you burn it to a CD and boot of it and it checks your RAM) and let it run for about 10 hours or so or for at least 5 passes just to make sure your RAM isn't bad.

Make sure everything is connected to the motherboard and connected in the right place. The best way to test a PSU to see if it's working is to jump-start it using a paper-clip, see here. Also, it may seem like a huge problem, but often the reasons why a PC won't start are due to small things such as forgetting to plug in the 4-pin CPU power connector or forgetting to plug the power button into the motherboard or forgetting to make sure the switch on the back on the PSU is switched ON! (this happens to me all the time!) Let me know if doing any of the above helped, I think the problem could be down to your RAM. Good luck!

Check the RAM sticks first, I bet that's where your problem lies. I also forgot to say if you want to test out the motherboard, remove all your RAM sticks, then boot up your PC. If the board has an onboard speaker and it and the board works, you should hear some beeps because there is no RAM.

Okay.. I have tried to take out the RAM, it still won't boot.. I went downtown to buy a new "batteiy", (the little bastard that sits in the motherboard, it is used to boot the PC apparantly) and replaced the old, still nothing..
I tried to take out the PSU to see if there was something wrong with it, but there is no visible errors.. I'm starting to think that there is a loose connection in the PSU..

I had an older PC that was given to me a year or so ago. I let my kids play on it. We moved it to our "Computer Room" and it would not start. I moved it to my workshop, and bam... booted right up. Took it back to the "computer room" and once again it would not boot. Moved it to a different wall socket and still nothing. Everytime I moved it, I would get different results. After playing with this problem for about a month, I replaced the PSU and not a single problem since.

Don't know if it helps, but PSU fixed my similar issue.
