keep host-PC fast while using a VM in VirtualBox?

hello,

is there a way to keep the host-PC fast while using a VM in Oracle's VirtualBox?
example: if i go playing a game with Flash on the host-PC while the VM is running the host-PC will being stuck.

why i want that the host-PC keeps fast is: because i want to play a PvP game with my sister on 1 PC 'cause we have 1 PC with VirtualBox with a few of VM's

this is what u need very fast slimmed down version of xp just boot of it from a VM pretty sure its a rar with a iso inside just extract it to your desktop and then boot off of it
