What PSU is right for me? Your chance to help improve my 1st gaming build.

Okay so I just sold my PS3 and all of its glorious games/accessories along with my old laptop so I now have around $500 to spend on a decent set up. (I have the rest set aside for a nice monitor, keyboard and mouse)

So I have two primary questions:
1. Is every thing your about to read listed compatible?
2. What power supply should I get and how many watts will it need to be? I think I know better than to spend $30 on a cheapo rosewill PSU right...

Here's the list of parts so far:
Mobo:

Video Card:

Processor:

Case:

along with the obvious: Cheap DVD reader, 4gb of Kingston DDR3, and a 3.5 inch 500gb hdd that I yet to find a good enough deal on.

I found a wattage calculator thing but none of my parts were listed and how capable do you think this machine will be? if I over clock it (are 4 fans included enough) will I be able to get BF3 on High settings? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My PSU is perfect for your setup. Was powering an I5 with a GTX560 Ti for a couple months no issues. Plus it's modular, helps with cable management.

well I just got 87tdna's psu in mail today(thanks!), $450 worth of parts from newegg are scheduled to be here tomorrow. I still need a monitor, hdd and keyboard... and BF3 lol

I plan on getting a razor mechanical keyboard and a 23 gate way monitor. I've been patrolling the local craigslist for the past few weeks waiting for a good deal to pop up.

You all talking about the OCZ Fatal1ty 550. Its a so, so power supply. Somewhere between a mid to lowend. Has better caps and insultion then the ModXStream. But other then that its the same. Its a Sirtec power supply, so that ought to tell you something.

I doubt the OP got anything at all out of that other than between a mid to lowend.

Mid to low end....of good power supplies. Thats kinda key there. It's an 80+ psu, not garbage at all. Plus it's modular, really nice to have.

That's what i was thinking, when microcenter had it for 60-20 rebate, i asked my dad about getting it, of course he doesn't like the rebates...
