What port is this on my GPU?

What is a display port? Is it something only for computer monitors or something? I have never heard of or seen that before. I use TV monitors as my display, and neither have that port on them.
 
Some monitors have them, I don't know much about displayport though. i wish they could do like triple DVI though :D
 
Yeah for sure. Well I guess I will just get the adapter that changes dvi to hdmi :P I bought a monitor from a friend, and I thought that last slot was another hdmi, but I was unfortunately wrong.. So now I gotta get that adapter. Maybe i'll find it today in town :) Another question, what exactly is the difference in quality between dvi and hdmi? My buddy has another monitor, but it is only dvi, not hdmi. Just curious if it would be worth it since my main monitor will be hdmi and if I purchase his other one, it will be dvi.

And I just noticed you are from Grand Rapids! Haha. I am from Charlevoix, MI. I moved here when I joined up :P
