My First gaming build..

yeah lol you might need it sometime, like with sockets but then again Alternate always has the right cpu for the socket at the pc builder thing so then again that lesson is also kind of worthless if no one cares about the generations lol

haha your're right and many thanks for the help to everybody who helped me:)!

I do however have a small piece of advice. On Alternate there is a section at Hardware called Upgrade Kits these are pretty good, and im planning on getting one myself.
these kits include:
Motherboard
CPU
Ram.

this is all bundled and the cost can be lower instead of just choosing parts. keep this in mind if it would be cheaper, then you can spend more money on a PSU and GPU.

for me, this would be cheaper. as buying a Corei5 2500k rig would cost me about €750,- and using this upgrade kit i can spend €650 - €700,- on a Core i7 2700k rig.

hey i watched for it but they do not have the kits of my dreams... if u know what i mean:P
i hope in the future they make better kits:D!

Sometimes bundles have low-quality parts.

nah this one i want doesnt. it contains the : core i7 2700k, 8GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600mhz CL9-something-something and a GigaByte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 Mobo. its a simple mobo with only 2 PCI-E slots but supports XF and SLI. and TriSLI or TriXF is pretty useless in my opinion unless you do heavy modelling, rendering etc

well i'll link you to the one i refrenced above: http://www.alternate.nl/html/produc...2700K-8GB/643017/?tn=HARDWARE&l1=Upgrade+kits

for its price, its cheap. but ofcourse, its all up to personal taste and opinion.

oh and btw this is going to be the new built and i am trying to get an aerocool vx-e pro LE case so this is not the final and i am waiting for ivybridge-E so the cpu wont be the final too;)

it looks good. theres nothing wrong with the 580 from GigaByte.
all of it seems good, alot of overkill in my opinion but its always fun to have too good specs than not good enough :)
