Wireless N-300 USB Adapter WNA3100 - Problems! Need help asap!

Hey, I need your help!

The above mentioned wireless adapter is having connection problems. It will be connected fine then It will randomly disconnect from the internet and I have to connect it myself again.

Then, get this, this is the weird part.. The adapter itself will just disconnect from my computer and I wont have a wireless connection at all! I mean when it makes the connection noise when you first plug it in, it will just randomly make that noise and i will have to unplug and plug it back in again to get it back. Sometimes it will disconnect and then connect over and over again right after each other. That connection noise is just constantly going off.

If anyone has any ideas on this issue, please help me

I had it on windows 7 with the same problem and now on windows 8 consumer it is the same. Ever since the adapter was new it has been doing this!

You most likely have a bad adapter or crappy drivers. If there are no updated drivers available for download then try a new adapter.

Okay I've updated the driver, didn't know there was an update out. Lets hope it holds out! If not then I'll post an update here

I spent over a week trying to fix my wireless adapter issue. I went as far as to reinstall Windows. Turned out it was just a bad adapter, despite using it for years. Picked up a 30 dollar one from Walmart and been running smoothly ever since. Don't rule out a it just being faulty.
