[Help] Building a new computer from stock

I want to upgrade my old HP Pavillion p6751c-b into a new computer. I was wondering if there are any motherboards that would fit with all of the old parts including the case.

At the moment the parts are all stock and as follows:
PSU: Lite-On 250W
GPU: Integrated Radeon HD 4200
CPU: AMD Phenom II 830
Memory: 6GB DDR3
Motherboard: FOXCONN 2AB1
Case: Stock HP Pavillion p6751c-b

I want a build that looks like this
CPU: AMD FX-8120
Motherboard: ASUS M5A88-V EVO
Case: Stock HP Pavillion p6751c-b

Would the above build work using all of my old stock parts?

What are you using this computer for?

According to this:

Your motherboard is a micro ATX, so you'll need a motherboard like this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128529
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128458

Something like that.

Be aware that with a new motherboard, you also need a new copy of windows, so that's another $100.

But really, you wouldn't see that much of a difference in anything, unless you're using programs that are heavily multi-threaded.

Would this be good? Or do you have a cheaper alternative? In a mobo, I'm also looking for 4×240pin DDR3 1333 memory slots that can go up to 16GB for future purposes.

I use this computer for all sort of purposes. I code in VB.net :p, play a lot of video games low-high end games, video editting, multitasking, etc. Pretty much everything. I'm one of those noobie computer nerds :p

FX is probobly a bad idea. But, a case that's good is only $50, so why not? Also, upgrade your power supply defiantly.

How much watts should I get? I just want a minimum because I'm on a budget of around $300 (maybe a push to $350 or so if needed), but yeah a minimum would be nice.

Lol. I play games fine to a playable extent without complaining. Now it'll only get better. I was planning to do upgrade in the future after this upgrade. Was planning to get a better GPU, then memory. Eventually it'll all become a 2nd computer. But At the moment I don't have the money to spend on those other things. I just want to upgrade my CPU at the moment and give my old mobo and CPU to my dad.
