Which one?I saw the oem vs 9600 gt but those are different gpus, plus the oems are usally worse.They are both ddr3 and i think are both clocked at 650 mhz.By the way, its for gaming, both brand new, the 9600 includes cod4 to make a buck on.

If it supports 2.0 it supports 2.1. All PCIe is backwards compatible.

It will work. Again, all PCIe is backwards compatible. If it will go in the slot, it will work.

pci 2.0 will work in 1.0, but ive read 2.1 wont work in 1.0 sometimes.

A PCI Express 2.1 card will work in a PCI Express 1.0 slot.
