Blu-eerrR what???

If you're into HD movie, i would go for Blu-ray reader internal. If you doing HD movie maker, i would go for Blu-ray burner internal. If you just want using DVD for SD movie, making movie, data, music and etc, go for DVD burner.

I have DVD burner for work with data, music, video and backup thing. Plus Blu ray reader for watch movie.

Avoid LG, external Blu ray with USB 2.0 and any drive that has 3 star or 3 egg on review. We have a lot of LG with bug problem. Mine two of LG burner can not read movie very well.

For now, just tell me what do you want to do with any drive.

PowerDVD is bad software. It would be better if finding blu ray burner without powerDVD. If OP decide to buy this drive you recommend, then I recommend a WinDVD. WinDVD is great and better. Zero bug.

What are you talking about, for started nowhere there is PowerDVD mentioned and on top of that, you are aware that you don't HAVE to use the software?

It is the same as if you buy a prebuilt computer - You can uninstall all of the crap which comes with it and it will still work.

My sound card came with Ableton, I didn't use it because it wasn't necessary.

Most of the time bundled software is just marketing, nothing else

Yeah, I have to removed powerDVD for WinDVD pro 11. I paid only 53 dollar.
Closed captioning and subtitle from WinDVD is much better. I'm a deaf btw.

It is not bad for WinDVD pro 11 that come with WinZip 15 (it is free that come with WinDVD pro)

Your opinion only, other than that PowerDVD is a good program and has nothing to do with buying DVD players

My old PowerDVD have problem with subtitle which is why i replace with WinDVD Pro 11.

What do you mean by "has nothing to do with buying DVD players?"

You mean my two LG DVD burner? That is internal and is for computer. Both of those can't read DVD movie very well and it keep skip part of video. LG Blu ray player have bug and subtitle sometime didn't work. LG TV have black out problem. Three of my LG phone have problem. That's why i told the OP to avoid LG product.
