I have a Corsair Force GT 60GB SSD(firmware 1.3), with a rated read/write speeds of 555/495MBs. But when I run "AS SSD Benchmark", it shows me read/write speeds of 440/75MBs. Im not so worried about the reads, but the writes...come on, 75 freaking mbs, something most be wrong(yes, it's hooked to sata6). Ive had blue screens befor, 2 that I recall, so I ran a few tests on it, came back fine. Ima post all specs provided by "AS SSD", as I suspect that my 4k read/writes speeds are also not up to par.FYI, this benchmark was not done on a freah install, I have since added software/game's. Ive also used "Benny Boy's" how to "Setup and Manage SSD" when installing for the first time(2 months ago).Maybe I skipped something, or messed up somewhere, who know's. Maybe reinstalling windows again might help?

reads | writes

Seq. 440.87MB/s | 75.85MB/s

4K 20.07MB/s | 57.36MB/s

4K-64Thrd 58.27MB/s | 75.63MB/s

Acc.time 0.155ms | 0.273ms

So if anyone knows how I can increase performance, please explain. Thanks!

Even though most all SSD manuf'rs use ATTO for their r/w spec (because it gives them the best results) your writes are, as you say, slower than expected.
The drive was new. Windows 7 fresh install 2 months ago. Its in ACHI mode. The port its connected to is set to 6.0.
There shouldn't be anything in the guide that would hinder your results.
How 'bout your POI mode and Ultra DMA settings?
You referenced the FW version so, that must mean you've check some user feed back while you were at Corsair's site to see if there's an update to the issue or user(s) with similar circumstances?

How would I check or change these settings?

No, I have not been to corsairs site to see if anyone else is having this problem. I just ran AS SSD yesterday for the first time.

Ima do a fresh install, then run "AS SSD" to see if that changes anything.

FYI, I have C-State's enabled, which I heard slows SSD performance down.

I don't know where in your BIOS. Perhaps something like 'storage configuration'.

I'll go look into it, im always eagered to learn new stuff.

Thanks for mentioning "ATTO". I downloaded it last night and ran the test, came back at above rated speeds, Corsair 555/495MB/s, ATTO 560/499MB/s.
Is there any more SSD benchmark tools out there? Would like to get a third opinion. One showing 440/75MB/s (AS SSD), and the other showing 560/499MB/s (ATTO).
