windows opening zip with java

i recently uninstalled winRAR and then i downloaded a zip file for my minecraft server and its default tool to open ZIPs was java



how to i set it to windows default opening tool

I am using XP. So Rt Click on the File and choose Open With, Compressed Zipped Folders. Should be the same in other Windows versions.

Can also go into Folder Options, File Types, and find Zip, then change the File association to the same as above.

If windows 7 then download and run the following file.

After downloading, right click on the file and click on merge. Then reboot your system and it should work correctly.

sorry i am using vista buisness

i managed to get it to open with open with then i searchead for windows explorer and used that

it stills works normally now apart from the icon is a little black sheet with a picture of windows explorer in the middle



how do i change that?

Download that file. Right click and click on merge. Then reboot and it should be fixed back to normal.

no i just stopped installing minecraft mods so i unistalled it
