Hi everybody. this is my first posting and im a bit of a novice when it comes to computers, so please bare with me.

My question is whats the best reasonable priced grahipics card i can buy for my computer to be able to play Diablo 3. I know this is a common question but im unable to figure out what i can buy with my computer.

Heres the link to Diablo 3 specs Diablo III System Requirements - Battle.net Support

and here are my computer specs

Computer make: Dimension 9150/XPS 400
OS: windows xp 32 bit
Ram:3g
HDD:1Tb
Processor: Intel Pentium 4cpu 3.00GHz
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series
Power supply: DC output 375w

And i would just like to mention, im not looking for state of the art graphics, just somthing so im able to play the game comfortable.
My price range would be around 100pounds. but lower if i can.

Okay, Thanks guys.

thanks for the reply.

what if i was to change my psu what kinda of price am i looking at and how big should i go on the watts. also could i get away with the processor ive got now or would it also be better if i change.

and dmullen1994 im aware of how bad the game has been received but i generally want to improve my computer for other games. so any advice would help.
cheers.

you can not get away with that processor. The game requires a Pentium D @ 2800MHz. That is a little less than double what you have. YOu may be able to upgrade to a Pentium D, but that would be as far as you can go, as the 945 chipset is old and Dell probably locked out the limited Core 2 support of it.

yes, you are better buying a new computer. There is some parts you can reuse if you want to. The Hard drive and CD drive for example. Make sure they are both SATA first though.

For a basic computer that can do some games I would go for around 600 or so. Thats about what I put into mine and it will hold its own gaming.

600, thats quite cheap, i was expecting to pay more. would that mean building my own? and with the 600 i would be able to pay today games comfortable or would i have to put more in. if so what would be your recomended price for a decent computer?

yes, you would be building your own that way. I can try and get you a build list if you would like?
For 600, I would be willing to bet that you would get medium to high on most games out today. (assuming your a USA resident. Canada too, Asutralia would need a bigger budget).

600 pound sterling may be pretty good. Been a while since I did a build for an english citizen. Vistakid will be able to help you more than I can at that point. But it looks like 600 pounds would be $933, so your good there. Excellent even.

wow. thanks a lot. this is great. just wondering aswel. would youtube be the best bet to help me build this. i wouldt say im a complete noob but im no where near experience enough without direction.
