how to remove iexplorer

I am trying to uninstall internet explorer, but it is not listed in the add/remove programs list.

running windows 7

Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features on or off

Then just uncheck the Internet Explorer box.

Not a good idea. You need Explorer for updates. Critical and security.
Leave it there. Life will be easier with it if visiting Microsoft.

You don't need Internet Explorer to run updates with Vista and 7, only XP and previous operating systems.

Why would you remove it anyway?
If you don't like it,just don't use it lol.
