cpu failing

hey guys,
my cpu is failing since yesterday, when I started call of duty it stutterd...
so I tought, maybe it's my gpu, so I downclocken gpu to base and it was still stuttering..
Then I went in bios and resetted the default values, and it is still stuttering :S

someone got any idea whats going on here?!?

Gotta test your hardware. Download the diagnostic utility for your HDD from the manufacturer and test it. Test your RAM with Memtest86+.
 
But why do I got it now? I got my pc for half a year...
But I gonna do it friday because got exams.
I gonna try to reinstall drivers and windows system repare.
 
Sometimes when I start my pc, it turns off after 10 sec, then back on and loads...
But thats only if my cpu is overclocked

Hardware can last a day, a month, a year, you name it. Just because it's fairly new doesn't mean it can't be bad.

It's not all about the watts. You could have a 1000W unit and it could be crap and fail. It's about the quality of the components inside the PSU. Cooler Master power supplies tend to not to be so good anyway. :/ Can you try the PSU in another system to see if the same thing happens?
 
Hmm your CM PSU isn't too bad. Around 720W of power is going to the +12V rail (60x12) so it should be absolutely fine. It's probably just failing. These things happen. See if you can test it in another system and then if you get the same problems see if it's still under warranty and then see if you can RMA. Or just send it back and get a better branded unit.
 
There is no program to test it. As said, you need a multimeter or a power supply tester to physically check the outputs under load. Take it to a computer repair shop and have them test it for you, shouldn't cost but a few bucks.

You mean the psu?

Before gonna spend money or send it in RMA, I gonna try all things from the replies and test a bit. Gonna do it friday (exams) I'll post it if it worked.
if not I'll send it in rma or let it repair.
 
I ran the intel burn in test (on high, 10 times) without errors in an overclock of 4.3...
is the psu then still the problem?

problem solved!
it was only when I started the game, it stutters only 3 seconds and then it goes like shit fast!
I think it's an issue with my connection to steam or something...

(found that I have only a 700Watts from ocz, but that doesn't matter, it's working :P)
