Having and odd issue please help

I everyone i am new here. Well kinda new here lol Having an issue with the gaming computer i built. It runs great but when i play WoW for a while it cuts off and sometimes it cuts off but the tower stays on and wont respond to the reset button or holding the power button to shut it off, when it wont respond i have to unplug for it to turn off then plug back in. I was wondering if maybe my PSU is too low for it or if it is getting too hot? Maybe it is my graphics card that is old that is giving it an issue. IDK. It doesn't give me any blue screen just shots off. Please point me in the right direction.

Specs as follows:
Master Cooler MAF 922 Tower
750 PSU
AMD Phenom II 6 core black edition
MSI 890fxa-gd65 mother board
FX sound card
Nvidia 8800gt video card 512mb
250gb HDD
Patriot Sector 5 8gigs ram
windows xp service pack3 OS
has 3 200mm fans also

If more is needed let me know
 
First off what is the specific make and model of power supply you have? Second, when you are able to restart your computer and boot into windows, does it give you any error messages that it recovered from a serious error?
 
It definately has enough wattage and power but it still could be bad. I would say either psu, video card, or mobo issue. Gonna have to start replacing parts to see.

Also, look in the event viewer to see if it says anything whats going on. Right click on computer, click on manage, on the left side click on event viewer, click on system and see if any errors are listed on the right.

To remark. I would test PSU with PSU tester and motherboard with POST tester. Plus trying to starting computer without have video card installed by using CPU's video card.

You might want to remove wire on motherboard then re-plug in onto motherboard.
 
Does the time coincide with the time the machine shut off? Also look under application as well.
 
im not sure as i cant remember what time it went out. Guess i will make note of it next time it happens and will compare with the errors. thanks for the help. Do you think my graphics card may get too hot and cut out and causes this to happen. It is rather old. Guess i will start with replacing that first then. Any suggestions?
 
Does it have a cooling fan on it? Usually when the system just shuts off, it is an overheating issue but it can be other things like failing hardware.

Yes it has a fan, but looking at heat monitors it runs way hot, not sure how accurate they are.
How do i take a screen shot of this heat monitor?

Do you have windows 7? If so, go to start button then type search bar "snipping tool" once program is opened. Drag screen where you want to take screen shot. Then save as JPEC.
 
With the temperature monitoring program open and active, press alt-print screen buttons. Then go to ms paint, hit ctrl-v buttons and it will paste it inside paint. Then save the picture as a jpg and either attach it to your post or upload it to a file sharing site and give us the link.

Oh right. I forgot what to be like using windows XP lol.
 
Well it happened again and i got this error Event ID 7003. The Fast User Switching Compatibility services depend on the following nonexistent servce: Termservice

I have no clue what to do now
