nokia lumia 900 vs iphone 4s

plain and simple, what one would you get, i have an iphone 4 atm but coming to the end of my contract and i work in IT and just want to know if i get the nokia will i be dissapointed

other is pure crap, never buy it. If you want games, a nice and varied UI, multiple cores, and anything good, get the 4s, i have no clue why they are still using the windows mobile crap, it is 3yrs old and only can use a single core, and although looks nice at first, it gets boring when everything uses that exact same layout and design.

actually you won't be disappointed on a nokia lumia,i already bought one in an online shopping Philippines that brings various smartphones. Lumia900 have so many efficient and exciting features that im so impress with..
 
I've got a Lumia 710 and it's perfect for what I want it for. It will last near a week on a single charge, and as I have a computer for playing games I couldn't give a stuff about apps.
It's cheap too.
 
Personally I'd go for the iPhone. The amount of stuff on the iTunes store is unbelievable. Honor Steve Jobs :P.
 
I like the build quality of the iphone, but i cant say anything else i like about it. They remove apps from the store on the slightest chance of a copyright cause. They removed Speak For Yourself which was helping a little girl to talk recently. Id give the new phone a chance vs giving that monster company more money.

Windows mobile 7.5 is like 5 months old and can use a quad core I believe. I have a 3 year old winmo phone.
 
It's a tough choice between those two.. I'd be with wrxguy and get an Android as I'm loving my Galaxy Nexus so far, but to each his own.

My advice is to go to the store and to play around with all three extensively. Unfortunately everyone will have their own opinions on the matter which won't necessarily apply to you.

I have a Nokia Lumia 710 and I would definitely choose the Lumia 900. I know that there are a lot more apps for iPhone so I was thinking about developing an app for Windows Phone 7. If you are interested in development then there is a guide that helped me a lot and provided code examples (http://www.voip-sip-sdk.com/p_511-windows-phone-platform-voip.html). I am also looking forward to the Nokia Lumia 820 and 920 that will run on Windows 8 OS.
 
I would not recommend any Windows platform phone to anyone. Had one last year and it dosn't have a market place that even compares to android and as for features on the phone mobile OS just felt like a lot of great ideas where going forward on it but nothing complete so you always feel behind.
 
Windows Phone has come a long way the past few months, especially with Windows Phone 8. The Lumia 920 has some seriously awesome features.
 
I am sure features have highly improved but there application center is where they are hurting, they don't get all the apps android and iphone users get and many of our free apps cost money on there. Not to mention because of low end hardware they use the xbox live games suck in comparison to what android users get.
