changing a stored password

I am not sure where my question should be posted so I will try here. When I log into my Yahoo mail my old password is stored in memory and I have to delete it and type in my new password to gain access . Where or how could I change the memory to remember my new password so that I do not have to delete and retype my new password each time I want to log in ?

there is no way that I have found to change it just for one site. What you will have to do is delete the stored data (I use ccleaner) and then enter the new password and it will remember it. But be warned everywhere else that you have stored passwords and login data will also be cleared.

That's the problem that I don't want to delete all my log in data , I just wanted to do it at Yahoo Mail . It's strange that it is set up like that , to have to delete everything or nothing at all .

I had this issue; it was related to a cookie that I'd given Firefox permission to store.
I had to delete the cookie and when logging in with the new one, I had to give Firefox permission to store the login data with a new cookie.
