Graphics game issues, HELP

Hello guys! i'm having a problem with almost every game i install in my computer..
The thing is, when i try to play a game (it appeard with anno 2070, dead space 2 and sims 3), the entire picture is kinda fractured in little triangles and stuff; in the characters, you can see trough them with those triangles...

As i don't know much about computers, i can't be more specific, but you can see on the picture what i'm talkign about.
I've recently formated my computer (but even before i did i had this problem with dead space 2, but only with dead space 2), and installed the drivers. I think i've already updated the drivers too.

There is one thing, when i restart my computer, it says it needs the microsoft.net framework to run the ati control center; i don't know if thats the problem.

So, do you have any ideas how to fix it? If so, i'm very happy to hear them thanks!

Your graphics card is going bad, its called artifracting. You need a new one.

Or you could have a graphics driver problem, maybe overheating or could be a bad power supply.

What are your specs (mainly gpu and psu)

Hello, sorry for not answering pronto
My graphics card is an ati radeon ( which model i do not know, how can i find it?)
as for the power supply unit i don't know how to see which one i have :/

go to run and type in dxdiag that should bring it up if not download cpuz that will tell you your gpu model. As for psu you need to check physically. As in open your pc.

Did you buy the pre built from an oem or build it yourself? (or buy it custom built but second hand?)

I've bought it form the store (already built). I have a ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO, as for the psu, i'm not really sure if this is what you want but it says Aopen

Thats a pretty old card. Maybe your pushing it too hard and thats causing the artifacts. I know when i used to push my 8800gts on crysis and battlefield 3 it used to artifact. Maybe try and run at lower res and settings. If that doesnt work its most likely a faulty card.

Even though it might be old, it can't be a problem associated with that because i used to run this games (sims 3, dead space, anno 2070) in the computer with the same card. But if it is because its broken, what could possibly have "triggered" the problem? i mean, do you think the only solution is to buy a new one?

Ah, and even though it used to run the games in maximum graphics with no problems, now it doesn't even run them without those artifacts in low res..

But games like minecraft are ok, which is also weird

You may have over stressed it. My old 8800gts was very dusty and ran hot as hell. It used to play crysis fine, then one day it just started artifacting. Not in any other game until i got bf3 but it only happened after a while.

It sounds to me like youve stressed it too much and its overheating. Or its just on its way out which is usually associated with artifacting.

As for fixing it. im not sure what you could do other than buy a new one. And even then you will have to buy a new powersupply if you go for anything modern as your current oem one will not surfice.

Open up the computer and ensure that the graphics card is not dusty and the fan is spinning.
Play the game and with the side off point a desk fan at the computer and see if this makes it better or prevents it happening
If this doesnt fix it then reinstall your AMD drivers from here
Ensure the game is updated with the latest patches
Update direct X

If all of that doesn't help, tell us what Power Supply Unit you have. With the case side off, record down the model number and brand of your PSU. But to be honest, it seems like failing VRAM to me on the graphics card. Either way, a new graphics card will need a new PSU.
