i was looking at a amd asus f1 a75 mobo, my last amd build was a socket 939.
ive been building all intel's .so i was wondering if theres any problems like usb3, or sata 3 ect. with these mobo's.

I would go with a AM3+ socket and a FX processor. The socket FM1 is a dead end. AMD Trinity APU comes out in the next few months and it will be socket FM2. Socket AM3+ will have one more updated processor after the FX Zambezi named the FX Vishera.

i was looking at the fm1 because i liked the built in video which is better then the ones in intel chips. i only play bf2 demo and surf porn .
was there a date the new fm2 were coming out

I've heard that October will be the big month. Might release the AM3+ socket FX Vishera and the FM2 socket Trinity APU at the same time. Big Piledriver release, lol. After that, I have heard that The APU and FX will be the same socket FM3.

Hmmm... that is hard to explain. But i had GA-H55-USB3, my old teammate, it have no problem with linux and other thing. It has NEC USB 3.0 and gigabyte controller RAID. It is really stable. The main problem is most of motherboard have made switched different controller chip. Make it hard to fix bug and issue. VIA might still need fixing but it should work out. VIA are controller for audio and USB 3.0. Plus Marvell is gigabyte's SATA controller. Marvell is good.

Be sure to read review before you buying motherboard with different type of controller. If it is NEC and realtek, they're really good controller.

Very important. Before you setup windows 7, be sure to read book about motherboard. There have been known bug about mouse and keyboard, because it has a lot of USB3.0 and USB2.0/3.0.

PS: If you want linux. Avoid Etron USB 3.0 controller. Also be sure to research website before buying motherboard with this type of USB 3.0 controller.
