Laptop power problem!

Hello!

Problem:
Recently on my laptop i made short circuit under keyboard by mistake. And now i cant charge my battery. If I plug in my computer battery is always at certain percentages and it's not charging or it goes empty.

Now I don't know what to do i wanted to buy new power jack but i change my mind to ask people what they think i should do!

There could be several key factors in determining your issue. First, remove both the battery and the charger. Hold down the power button for 1 minute and then plug in the charger. Try to turn it on. If it works then try plugging in your battery. If the same error occurs, then you have a bad battery and you should get a replacement.

If the laptop doesn't turn on, prior to when you plugged in the battery, then you have a charger problem.

I know that my battery is good because i can charge my battery on the other computer. But if i remove the battery(charger is plugged in), and try to turn on computer it yust strarts for less than a second and it goes off again!
