Which temperatures let my old computer shut down?

Hey guys,
I got this problem for a long time now, which of these temperatures shown here:

make my computer shut down.

I think it's the gpu.
The mobo is getting warm because of the gpu.
But what does that aux mean?

So you're having issues with your computer shutting down? The GPU temperature is fine, I'd say it's possibly more due to an unstable CPU overclock. Going by your sig you have your 2600K at 4.9GHz now, lower it a bit and see if the problem persists. What voltage is your CPU running at Rob?

these are idle temps, I look again to it and my gpu temp is now 81 with doing anything...
voltage is 1.125v

the gpu fan is running on 8880 RPM :P

there is no oc..

the cpu is stable, and temps are ok?
 
And your computer just randomly shuts down? Is it when you are putting load on the CPU and/or the GPU or is it just random? Run Prime95 quickly and see what temperatures your CPU gets up to, and then run FurMark and see what temperature your GPU gets up to. Prime95 will stress the CPU and the RAM and FurMark will stress the GPU.

Aux usually just means Auxiliary, wouldn't worry about that one I don't think.

I'll run black hole. Not gonna try furmark, because it shuts down in games, videos, ... all gpu intensive things.

I'm sure it's not the cpu, but I'll do it.
81°C idle for a gpu is too much I think...
 
You may want to possibly think about bumping the voltage up on your CPU a bit, 1.125v seems quite low for 4.9, maybe try 1.135 or 1.14 and see if its any better.

Umm if it shuts down in games and GPU intensive things then it is possibly your GPU. Take out your cards and dust them down (just spray them with air), put them back in and see if your temps have dropped.

Could be the power supply I guess but more likely the GPUs. Coming to think about it 81C at idle is pretty high for a 6870. Is that the combined heat of the two cards though?

I was talking about my OLD pc :P
It got an i7 920 @ stock.
And my rig now has only 4.1 oc because of stock fan :D

The gpu is a gt 520...
these temperatures I got now, right after the test (it has intel stockfan)

the idle temp of the gpu is lower, because I just started my pc again.
 
Take out the card and spray some air into it to get rid of any dust, then put it back in and see what temperatures you get. 98C is a bit on the hot side.
