My first build!

Hi.
I have researched and finally ordered the parts for my first build. The parts list is available at this link.

I had a few questions. First of all, the obvious "will it all work together?". I've done enough research to be 90% certain, but I wonder if an expert who reads this can save me a lot of trouble by spotting a problem.

Second, do I need to purchase extra cooling? The case has an 80mm fan built in, the CPU has a stock cooler, and the PSU has its usual fan. I don't plan on overclocking at all, and I don't have a discrete graphics card; just the Intel 2500 graphics.

Third, I noticed that the PSU only has two SATA power connectors. I have my HDD, SSD, and optical drive. Do I need a SATA connector for the optical drive or will a Molex work?

Thanks for your patience, I can't wait to hear from people.

Hi,
What are you goingn to use this system for?

Mainly video editing.

1) I think you can upgrade the i5-3570 to i5-3570K as I've heard from numerous sources that the K initial has better capabilities for overclocking if you ever need to do so. Alsdo the 3570K has the 4000 series of integrated graphics I think.

I thought you were going for gaming but if it's for video editing, you are going to have to wait for other experts to comment on whether you need a dedicated video card or not.

Other than that, I don't see why this combination won't work.

2) If you are going to overclock for faster speeds, get a cooler like I did :) CoolerMaster EVO Hyper 212+.

3) PSU, why don't you consider some modular PSU from OCZ? They have units like 700W for under 60$. It gives you more wattage support and low cost. Plus, I've used OCZ PSU before and never had any problem.

Yeah a dedicated GPU can be good for editing. Depends what software the OP is using though as to whether rendering with the help of a GPU can be done or not.

Thanks for the advice. I opted out of the cheap psu in the list and got a better one instead. Antec VP450. Should be a good one.
I'm not going to overclock at all, so cooling isn't a huge issue.

Thanks for the help!
