Performance Problems - Help!

So, I bought a new computer recently, it is pretty good, and can run pretty much any progam with no problem.
However... I'm having some problems with games.
For example... GTA IV. My computer has way higher specs than the recommended for playing GTA IV, but I cant play it with graphics on max: I have to play it with graphics on low, and still with a bit of lag!
Someone please help me, I don't know what to do! D:
I'll attach a copy of the DxDiag 64bits info about my computer.
(I had to take some info out, otherwise it wouldn't let me upload it, if you need more info, ask me for)

you need to upgrade your graphics card, and depending on your power supply, that may need to be upgraded as well, if you want it to handle a higher end card. you only have a gt 210. that card isnt for gaming. you will want a gtx 460, or higher, depending on your budget. if your tight on a budget, then maybe shoot for a amd 7770, or even a gtx 550ti, with a minimum of a 400 watt power supply.

wouldn't say even...

gtx550ti < hd7770 < gtx460 ~= hd6850 < gtx560 < hd6870 < gtx560ti

The gtx550ti is far away from the hd7770, the rest I looked up on anandtech.

well, i bought this computer in like 3 weeks or so. I can still ask for changes in the place i bought it, I can probally get the difference when buying another gpu... this one was R$100,00 (brazilian money) so if I get another one that costs like... R$150 i'll pay only 50. And i have some money with me, so i guess i can kinda buy any gpu you guys recommend.

oh, and i'm not very familiar with abbreviations, but i think you mean this guy here:
ATX 500W Real 24P 2 Sata High Power Led (C500W-2S3I)

also. I want a graphics card that supports 2 screens.
and about the cpu, when you say i can game with it, you mean.. it will do the job? or there will be cases where it doesn't do the job? if so, you can recommend another cpu as well, if possible.

K, is it possible to change the psu too? Or you want to stay with it?
The best choice to go with is the hd7770, hd6850 or maybe the hd6870 if you can't change your psu.

If you could change to a higher quality psu like OCZ , Corsair or XFX; then you could get the more high end gpu's. (I would recommend the most expensive one, but I doubt it you can buy :P)
I'm not really familiar with Brazilian psu's, so I really don't know or you can trust the quality.

If you want to change from cpu, you'll need to change from mobo. I don't know your shop will do that for you.

hm.. i think i am able to buy a corsair here...
but changing the psu is really that necessary? can't I achieve something like.. playing battlefield in max graphics using something for this psu?
also, what's the difference between hd7770, hd6850 and hd6870?
and, again, will this cpu always do the job?

I'm not saying you can't play with the cpu, but it's just not meant for gaming.
And if I would know the quality of your psu I should be sure what gpu it can handle. I play BF3 at ultra with my hd6870.

you can see here
that even an i3 would be better for gaming.
(I took the 3850 though, because yours wasn't aviable to compare. But it will only be better by a little)

hm, i see. i guess that, for now, i'll change the graphics card only, and see how it goes. but what's the difference between hd7770, hd6850 and hd6870?

the higher the number after the hd, the better it is?

you got the hd6xxx and hd7xxx series, the 7xxx are newer and mostly better.
The performance of the hd7770 will almost be the same as the hd6850. The hd6870 will perform best of these. The hd7850 will be the best in your psu range you can get. It comsumps less then the hd6870 and performs better. It costs 40$ more.
It's your decision how much you want to spend, but your cpu will always be a bottleneck.

Looked again to your cpu's gaming performance. It's OK, you'll be able to play most games with it fairly well. With a small oc, you can give it a big boost in performance I saw.
