Has anyone used this laptop before?
I'm seeking to see if it's good with running Photoshop, video editing, some gaming, and various other musical programs.
I've been reading that Sony laptops tend to overheat a lot compared to Lenovo and ASUS, is that true?

I have a vaio that is two years old and works great still. No problem with over heating. What is the gpu in the one you are looking at? Any vaio should be able to do what you want with the exception of gaming unless it has a nvidia gpu.

A Nvidia 640 GT is not a bad gpu at all and should be fine for gaming but if you don't want to be disappointed find something with a 600 series GTX nvidia gpu
