Help with which graphics card to get for older system

I've just purchased a computer off of ebay for my Mother. It's nothing special, but It's more than enough for someone who will only really use the thing for browsing the web, and sending email. However, I would like to install a graphics card (low profile, of course), but I'm unsure as to which one will be compatible. Would something from the Radeon HD 5000 series suffice? That said, I guess I'll also have to take in the 100-240v power supply into consideration...

Here are the system specs:

Processor: 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo E7400
Cache Memory: 3MB L2 Cache
Cache Per Processor: 3MB
OS: Windows XP Pro
RAM: 2GB DDR2
Storage Controller: Sata
Hard Drive: 250GB
Optical Storage: DVD RW
Graphics Controller: Intergrated Chipset
Networking: Intergrated RJ-45 Ethernet Port
Power: 100-240v

If anyone could provide multiple options, that would be fantastic. Thanks to anyone, and everyone in advance for any help given!

You'll need to upgrade your PSU before you put any kind of graphics card in that system.

Those PSUs are crap.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMP...1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1347464029&sr=1-1 that's what you want. Don't be fooled by the lower wattage, a quality unit like this Corsair will actually give more amps to the +12V rail than that generic POS and thus resulting in more power.

I'd recommend that other PSU as much as I'd recommend falling down the stairs...
Great, thanks for the help. I'll buy that PSU, but would you be able to recommend a low profile graphics card as well, please?

For your budget this would be the best you could get http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-11...1_5?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1347465258&sr=1-5

Is this a slimline PC? I'm curious as to why you'd need a low profile card when a regular ATX PSU will fit...
I'll be honest with you... I don't know. I asked a question to the guy I bought the computer off of, if I'd be able to install a graphics card. He replied "yes, but it would have to be a low profile one." The computer is in really good condition and it works really well...

Edit: It's not a slimline.

You got any photos of this PC? I'm curious to see why you'd need a low profile card if you can have an ordinary power supply.
