Looking at getting a new phone (16GB or more) any recommendations?

Hello everyone :)

I really want to buy a phone to use as a music player only - I have a blackberry tied up to a contract that I cannot swap over to a new phone.

I really enjoy my music and a phone with 16GB or more will be needed! :) the phone doesn't have to be anything spectacular just something simple as long as it's running either, Windows Phone software or Android so that I can download and install rdio

My budget is only £140/$225 but if there's something for less that would be ideal

I know nothing about phones lol but I cannot afford a iPhone and I just sold my iPod.. basically... I was going to get Zune - and it's only compatible on Windows 7 phones, but then I realised that there's rdio which is much better and can run on apple's - and I've already sold my iPod lol

I'm really fond of Sony Ericsson phones, so i'll suggest you go look for a xperia. I currently own a vivaz, and although it's on symbian, it's bloody awesome. Besides, SE has a reputation for phones who can output music good, and the battery is pretty good. Even if you buy it on second hand, it still should do it's job properly.

Thank you for your answer :) I'll have a look around on eBay for an xperia or a vivaz :) which one is best value for money out of the two?

That's definitely xperia, because of the android. A friend of mine got one for about 225 Euro, and it behaves awesome. And the android that xperia uses it's the best looking imho. I really don't like what android runs on samsungs for example.
