Need help choosing parts for 3d modeling Computer

Hey guys i hope you can help me.

My basic goal is the make a computer which can run programs such as 3DS Max, Cinema 4D and most Adobe products such as After Effects.

My budget is between €500- €700 (($650-$900) (£400-£560)

Any help would be great. This is my first time building a computer but my Dad has built a few himself so i should be grand on that part.

I would like at least 8GB of Ram 16GB would be great if it's not too expensive. Anything less than 8GB wouldn't be worth wasting my money for, i think.

I know that Adobe suggests nvidia graphics cards but is there a better option?

I guess the best beginning is to choose my components. I'll/We'll hopefully have these filled soon.

Motherboard:GIGABYTE GA-Z77P-D3

http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GA-Z...348444163&sr=1-1&keywords=GIGABYTE+GA-Z77P-D3

CPU:Intel Core i5-3570K Quad-Core Processor

http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Core-i5-3570K-Quad-Core-Processor/dp/B007SZ0E1K

I really want an intel chip becuase how i understand it, its the best option. Maybe i'm wrong. If i am please explain. Thanks

Ram:CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB

seems kind of expensive?

Video Card: i was looking at Nvidia Quadro workstation graphics cards and i'm kind of lost on this one. This seems like one of the biggest expenditure.

Maybe?? these

Already own:
Monitor
Power supply

Keyboard and mouse
Case

Thanks to whoever helps in this. Any small piece of advice would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Keith.

For 3D stuff I'd buy an NVIDIA card over AMD, purely for the CUDA support which can speed up your render times. Look into the likes of the GTX 660 and the 660 Ti, or possibly a 670 if you can afford.

Might want a slightly better board too, I know the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H and the UD3H are very nice boards for the price.

Take a Z68 or Z77 board and go with a 2600K just in case you want to overclock it in future.

Z78 would probably be best for a 2600K. I love my ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3, so I'd take any P8Z68-V board.

This is from another person imtalking too. What do you guys think?

Go for a 3770K and a Z77 board, then get yourself a nice aftermarket cooler so you can overclock. Ditch the Caviar Green drive for a Caviar Blue or Black or get a Seagate Barracuda (much faster drives, you want 7200 RPM, Green drives are only 5900 RPM).

You don't want a micro ATX board, go for an ATX board and get yourself a P8Z77-V board if you like ASUS or something like a GA-Z77X-D3H/UD3H/UD5H (depending on budget) from Gigabyte. Either series of board will be better than that mATX H77 board.

You don't want to be modelling without a graphics card, so get yourself a card when you build, and I'd replace the Raptor drives for an SSD. The one the guy recommended was good - others to think about are the Crucial M4, SanDisk Extreme and the Samsung 830. OCZ Vertex 4 is also meant to be fast.

The case is old and has no cable management, avoid. Go for a Carbide 300R from Corsair instead or maybe a Define R3 from Fractal Design. They are much newer cases withmuch better cable management.

The new drive is only 250GB, Seagate do make larger drives.

Yes, the processor is good.

Board choices are good, if you can go for a GA-Z77X-D3H though, otherwise I'd choose the Asus.

Can you not buy it from a shop in the UK and get it sent to Ireland? Or would P&P cost too much?

I could buy it from the uk but why? is it much cheaper?
I think the p&p cost would be about €20.

But i can collect it from elara.ie with no extra charge.
