Upgrading CPU

Hi guy's, I am a bit curious on upgrading my current PC which is an emachine.

System Model is ET1330/ET1331, but the sticker on the side tower shows ET1331G-05W. I haven't been able to locate anything online that would tell me what other CPU I could use other than the one that came installed.

This is what MSINFO32 shows.

Processor AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250u Processor, 1600 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)


Would someone be able to help me out here and link me some documents? Thank you

okay, now that I have read that my current CPU is a AM3 Socket... Would I be able to use this one to replace my CPU? 1.6ghz is just a kill for me : \

Any Am3 65 watt cpu should work in your motherboard. So the 270 you linked to should have no issues.
