my computer has just done something i have never seen before..
when i cam home this afternoon and went to power on the computer it started normaly, the only difference, there was no display.
I checked all the connections inside the case and everything checked out fine... i rebooted. nothing changed still no display.
I tried using the mini hdmi port and still no display was outputed.
not sure what is going on?
the graphics card nvidia geforce gtx 560ti boots and lights up like normal, the harddrive is plugged in and working fine.
i dont know what else to do :/

This'll sound really silly but its a mistake I've done many times, have you checked the TV/monitor is plugged in and switched on to the right channel etc :P

Don't mean to be patronizing or anything but its something I've done so many times!

Or you can be like me and get confused between MOBO video output and the GPU output... then again its only me :/

Firstly try reseating your graphics card and removing and reinserting the power connectors. I've had this problem before and it was down to bad RAM, so secondly, try removing one or two of your RAM sticks and see if the problem persists. Keep removing them until you get a display.

Ive got this prob about a week ago, i replugged in my monitor and it worked! Have you checked the monitor?

ive tried using two different monitors, one a dvi connection, the other a hdmi connection, no difference.
i will tried removing the ram like said and there was no change :/

when my computer boots it usually makes a beeping sound when everything in the cpu is okay, it boots up with no display, but the beeps dosnt go of :/ not sure wether the harddrive is corrupt and the computer cant read any data from it?

So you're not getting any beep codes?

Have you tried the card in a different PC just to determine that the card is not at fault?

Yeah tried that today... I managed to boot the pc with an old ram sticl
.. Seems all the ram is corrupt. Also my hard drive is corrupt cant load the os... I booted from an external os on a hard drive.. works fine.
Any ideas?
